Janet, Janet, Go Away! We Can’t Stand You One More Day!

Okay… so I took a liberty or two with the children’s nursery rhyme.  You have to admit, it gets my point across. is reporting that Janet Napolitano is being told to step down after the things she said in regards to the Ft. Hood massacre.

Admittedly, one has to wonder what she was thinking.  Our nation had just been attacked from the inside by a Muslim terrorist and all Janet can say is, “We are working with state and local groups to try to deflect any anti-Muslim anger…”

She is, after all, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, isn’t she?

I want to be sure I understand this correctly:  13 Americans were murdered, 29 Americans were wounded, the gunman (or alleged gunman if I wanted to be politically correct, which I don’t) is Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim, who reportedly yelled “Allah is great” as he shot soldiers, police and civilians, the gunman is – for now – a Major in the United States Army, the massacre took place on American soil on a military installation,  and the best thing the Secretary of Homeland Security can come up with is, “This was an individual who does not, obviously, represent the Muslim faith.”

I must be missing something!

Thank goodness for  They are a non-profit organization devoted to national security and strong support of our military.  In a press release of April 23, 2009, MAF called for Obama to fire Napolitano for attacking our troops in a document called “Right Wing Extremism.”

It turns out that was only her first attack on American soldiers.  Now she’s doing it again.  According to she also stated last week that the attackers of 9/11 came through Canada even though proof exists that not one of the terrorists was in Canada before going to New York on a mission to destroy the World Trade Center, part of the Pentagon, a farmer’s field, two American transportation companies, four passenger airplanes, approximately 3000 human beings, countless numbers of family members and friends of those killed and the peace of one Nation.

Then here she comes telling the American people that Islam is a peaceful religion.  Excuse me, but weren’t the terrorists on board the already mentioned airplanes Muslim?  Hasn’t Osama bin Laden taken “credit” for sending them here to kill and destroy?

Isn’t Hasan Muslim?  Didn’t he send emails and make other attempts to contact Al Qaeda?  Hasn’t he told military colleagues that “infidels should be beheaded and have boiling oil poured down their throats?” is mounting an internet campaign demanding that either she resign or Obama fire her.  “Napolitano noticeably demonstrates that she is incapable of protecting America from the threat of Islamic terrorism and illegal aliens, therefore she must be fired immediately if our country is going to be safe in the coming years,” said MAF officials.

In support of this campaign, congresswoman Mary Fallin (R-OK) has released a statement in which she states, “Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is out of touch with mainstream America” if she believes that returning war veterans and people who believe in the Second Amendment pose a terrorism threat to the nation.

“Like most Oklahomans I was amazed at her statements and actions,” Fallin said. “First she approved a report that implied members of the armed forces returning from combat would follow in the footsteps of Timothy McVeigh. Then she insulted our friends in Canada by falsely claiming the 9/11 terrorists came from there. Is this really a person that should be speaking on behalf of our nation?  Her earlier statement impugning most American conservatives, like myself, as possible terrorists set off another firestorm of criticism of the DHS Secretary,” she said.

In claiming that the Canadian border is a sieve for terrorists entering America, she neglects where she lived before she moved to Washington.  Arizona.  She was governor of the State of Arizona.  Can you believe it?  It seems there was a time when she actually declared a “state of emergency” in Arizona prompting neighboring New Mexico governor Bill Richardson to deploy 54 national Guardsmen.  Political consultant Mike Baker notes, “I’ve seen more National Guard troops deployed for a snowstorm.”

He continues, “For almost eight years, conservatives took President Bush and members of his administration to task for failing to protect our borders. Conservatives find such activity to be beneath contempt. It’s unseemly for the conservatives to duplicate what they found deplorable in their opponents’ strategy.”

Hey, Janet…….HERE’S YOUR SIGN!
